Candied Almonds & Elf's Return


Not only are these yummy, but they make your house smell delicious.  

RECIPE:
4 Cups Almonds 
1 Egg White
2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Cup White sugar
3 Tablespoons Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Cup Water

Combine Egg White and Vanilla and whip until smooth and frothy.  In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients.  Add almonds to egg mixture and then add dry ingredients. Place in a prepared crockpot on low for three hours.  Stir every twenty minutes.  After three hours add water and stir thoroughly.  Cook for an additional 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
